Zac Poonen

Here we gather Brother Zac Poonen’s books, sermons and articles – free of charge, in English and Swedish.

Who is Zac Poonen?

Zac Poonen is a Bible teacher from Bangalore, India. He served as an officer in the Indian Navy before helping to found Christian Fellowship Church (CFC) in 1975, which today has churches in many countries.

For more than fifty years he has taught about the New Covenant: that God, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, wants to write his laws on our hearts and change us from within. His message is about discipleship, holiness, humility, a clear conscience and a church that is the body of Christ – not an organisation.

All his teaching is shared freely. He takes no royalties for his books, and the churches never charge for meetings or material. Much of it is available in English at cfcindia.com; here at newcovenant.se we also publish Swedish translations as they become available.

What does he teach?

The New Covenant
The difference between trying to keep God’s commands in our own strength and letting God write them on the heart (Hebrews 8:10).
Discipleship
Following Jesus wholeheartedly in everyday life – at home, at work and in our thoughts, not only on Sundays.
Victory over sin
That the Holy Spirit gives power to overcome conscious sin, so that we can live with a clear conscience.
Humility and love
That God gives grace to the humble, and that love for one another is the mark of a true church.
The church as a body
That a local church is a family where everyone serves, bears with one another and grows together.
